Strong:

I approach challenges in the mountains with consideration but feel confident in my abilities. I maintain a consistent and relaxed rhythm in tough snow conditions.

Expert/Pro:

I have excellent to impeccable technique with extensive backcountry experience. I charge from summit to valley and rejoice in challenging terrain because it makes me feel alive.

Cruiser and Proficient

Cruiser:

I prefer moderate pitches and numerous breaks during the ascent. I slow down in challenging or treed terrain and challenging snow conditions, but I am able to control my turn size and shape with ease.

Proficient:

I choose a moderate pace and keep it moving with short breaks as needed and when hungry. I ride or ski at a faster pace in the open and on moderately steep pitches. I am slightly hesitant in trees or when snow conditions are challenging.

Day 1- Airport pick up and lunch en route to Suizandina Lodge for a social evening and dinner with your guide

Day 2- Ski Resort Corralco and Summit Volcano Lonquimay followed by dinner at Nalcas Parilla Agentina
Day 3- Randonnee / Splitboarding La Fusta followed by dinner at Trafwe
Day 4- Heli-Bump to Rando / Split Tolhuaca followed by dinner at Fundo Laguna Blanca

Day 5- Flex + upgrade to Ski / Ride or relax in Hot Mineral baths and tour waterfalls followed by dinner at Randonnés
Day 6- Rando / Split to Summit the Sierra Nevada Volcano and ski to the hot tubs of Cañon del Blanco followed by Asado del Gaucho
Day 7- Rando / Split APEX Guides choice or group goal followed by dinner at Maya
Day 8- Rando / Split Cerro Cautin for hot laps followed by dinner at Gori’s

What Airport should I fly into?

All international flights will connect through SCL Arturo Merino Benitez International Airport in Santiago before continuing to ZCO Araucania Airport of Temuco.

Is it necessary to rent a car?

We can provide an airport shuttle and as always the transportation for all activities and dinners is included in your itinerary. If you insist on renting a vehicle be sure to reserve a 4x4 ahead of time and be sure that it is functioning properly before departing for the mountains.

How far in advance should I book my private and exclusive trip with APEX?

The sooner you confirm an outing with us the higher your likelihood is of booking a completely private adventure without any interruptions due to guide scheduling.
